Networking and Career Transitions

Although I finished my PhD in 2010, I think I can still offer some advice on career transitions (e.g., leaving academia for industry/not for profit/nonprofit/federal).
After moving from academia, I transitioned from health policy research for the military to healthcare consulting for the public, followed by a move to regulatory review of medical products at the Food and Drug Administration (FDA).
