Pathways into a science policy career

There are many different pathways into a science policy career, which is what makes this field so exciting but possibly also confusing for trainees looking to enter it. My own path into the field was guided by picking a certain area of interest around which all my activities converged. I eventually realized that all of them centered on developing the next generation of scientists.
